March 10 is National Women and Girls’ HIV/AIDS Awareness day. Be empowered, get tested, be safe.
What would MacGyver do?! He would stop immediately, remove the broken condom, apply a new one, and keep on moving! The next day, he and his partner would get tested for HIV and other sexually transmitted infections…for safety’s sake. Everyone should have an updated status, anyway.

I missed National Condom Week. Usually, it”s recognized within the same week as Valentine’s Day….because of the societal symbolism of Valentine’s Day. A day to acknowledge love and/or your lover. My boyfriend said to me that day, “It’s 10 o’clock on Valentine’s Day. How many people do you think are getting it on right now?” Anyway, I digress.
National Condom week began on the University of California-Berkley campus and has grown over time as a Public Health Campaign. February could even be considered as National Condom Month. I say, January, Feburary, June, September, October…..use condoms every month. Condoms protect against sexually transmitted infections, and unplanned pregnancies when used correctly. Be smart, be safe, be protected….or should I say b safe, b smart, b protected :)
B condoms are a socially responsible and urban owned condom company. Their product can be found at Walmart, Kmart, Whole Foods, and now on Amazon.
It’s important to find the condom that’s right for you. That means size, durability, personal preference, lubrication, etc…
